@seaofwhoas Couldn't agree more. I'm a huge Gilmour fan over Waters, but Final Cut was a great album. Maybe it would have been better if Roger made the album himself, instead of neglecting the other musicians in the band to pursue his own concept.

@yellow2000fluff No dude, you sir are generally shit. The ablum was a major sucess in the UK, Not only has david been knighted after the release of this album but he was also awared the UK version of a P.H.D as well for his song writeing and musical influence not just for Floyd but on his own work as well. Rolling Stones even dared to say Gilmour is a master musican surpassing Hendrix...You Sir are generally Shit

how can you say that? they are both gerat musicians..in the beggining waters played the guitar, than switched to the base, without waters there wouldn't have been pink floyd,he knows music, they both do
seaofwhoas (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
disagree. the final cut was fantastic. no doubt gilmour is the better musician of the two, though. gilmour isn't the best lyricist in the world, either. they were both really at their best when they were playing together in the 70's. |
